Cozy. Simply about the complex. No wine snobs here
Why it’s worth visiting us?
4 reasons to visit us (and stay a little longer)
-1-
REAL TALK
You’ll hear how a city girl from Moscow became a winemaker in Piedmont — and why every wine has its own story.
-2-
NO WINE SNOBS
We speak human language here. No complex terms unless you want them
-3-
WINEMAKER INCLUDED
No hired staff. I personally lead every tasting and share what really happens behind the scenes.
-4-
TRADITION, UPDATED
I deeply respect this land and its traditions — I didn’t come here to impose, but to learn. At the same time, I’m not afraid to move forward. To create. To stand out. To add something new and bright to what’s already beautiful.
What we love to share
Not just facts and flavors. We talk about vineyard chaos, cellar magic, lessons learned the hard way, and why perfection is overrated (but we still chase it):
1
If it’s your first time here, we’ll chat about the three wine zones around us: Roero, Monferrato, and Langhe
2
How our hill transformed in the last 10 years — and why it matters
3
Plenty of personal stories. Our Plan B in 2019 that turned into our first (surprise) harvest. Changing winemakers — twice. Fermenting wine in glass jars (yes, really). Why there’s a fireplace in the cellar. Harvesting grapes at night with headlamps. And much more we never planned, but lived through.
4
Winemaking talk? Absolutely. If you’re curious about techniques, I’ll gladly share the details — I work in the cellar myself.
5
And whatever else comes up Every visit is different — just like every vintage. We follow the mood, the questions, and sometimes the weather.
Two wineries, you choose where to visit us
Tenuta Foresta now has two places where we can welcome you for a tasting: our winery in Isola d’Asti and our new cellar in Barbaresco.
Same wines, same personal approach — just choose the location that fits your trip better.
Isola d’Asti
via Bricco San Giovanni, 18.
Here, tastings feel a little like coming to our home. On the terrace when the weather is nice, in our cosy living room when it isn’t — and in winter, preferably by the crackling fireplace.
Barbaresco
Località Paglieri, 3
Here, you’ll taste our wines right inside the cellar, in our loft-style tasting room — surrounded by barrels, antique furniture and a table we made ourselves from red cherry wood.
You’ll be tasting the wines right where they are made, with the barrels ageing just a few steps away.
How to visit us
Just make sure to write us before coming: we’re a working winery, and there’s a real chance you’ll catch me mid-harvest, cleaning tanks or dragging hoses across the cellar. But I want to be ready for you!
