4 facts about our Viognier
It seems to be our most complicated wine to produce, but definitely it’s worth.
  • Only from our vineyards
    Viognier is a rare vine in Piemonte. And initially we also planted this variety just like the protection of Chardonnay vineyard. But in 2020 we decided to try, what if Viognier is vinified separately.
  • Skin contact fermentation in amphora
    We ferment a part of the must along with grapes skin to have a richer structure and more flavors. The result is a very light version of orange wine.
  • Only 3 months oak aging
    One 400l barrel, one barrique and the rest ages in stainless steel tank. Oak softens the wine and adds the complexity, and steel vat keeps freshness and fruitiness.
  • Label by an artist
    The label was made by my big friend — Kiko Perotti, a Verona born artist, famous for his paintings of flowers, birds and animals. Why green woodpecker? We had one, that gouged holes in shutters of the house…

  • White fish with creamy sauce
    Rice and codfish in lemon creamy sauce. Or maybe codfish on cauliflower purée
  • Rabbit in cream sauce
    Or chicken in butter lemon sauce. Anyway Viognier and cream are a great pair
  • Shrimps
    They say Viognier is nice with spicy sauces … Try ;)
  • Cheese!
    It could be the great desert and finish of a dinner: Viognier, some dried fruits and honey

We’re a family owned small winery on the Monferrato hills in Piemonte, between Asti and Alba, less than 1 hour drive from Turin. Yes, it’s me in the photo and I run everything in the winery. To read more about our story, click here. And here you can find all the range of our wines.
Our wines
Wines with flowers on the labels are light and vibrant. Those with birds are bolder and more complex. And other labels have some peculiarity. For example sparkling wine by classic (Champagne) method is my personal passion. And for Nebbiolo we use the grapes from Barbaresco.
